But obviously Samsung doesn’t seem to have added anything that would be an obvious battery drain.  The s9 offers a slight improvement over its predecessor, but you’ll still have to charge it daily. Samsung s9 supports wireless and fast charging.

There’s no fingerprint sensor to be found, because Apple opted for FaceID instead. This employs the dual front-facing camera setup on the front. The iPhone X has an almost all-screen bezel-less front, but the front-facing camera and a few other bits and pieces have been packed into a notch that digs into the top of the display. The Super Retina AMOLED in the iPhone X is also 5.8 inches, but it has a more traditional aspect ratio.

Which Is The Best? Samsung Galaxy s9 or iPhone X

Many have been asking this question “between Samsung Galaxy s9 and iPhone x which is better”? I will be answering these questions comparing the two smartphones starting from their designs.

 Performance

Both Samsung s9 and iPhone x are both nice when it comes to performance. Though both phones come with 64GB of onboard storage, but there’s also a 256GB version of the iPhone X, The Galaxy s9 offers a MicroSD card slot for easy, and potentially cheap, memory expansion of up to 400GB. It’s arguable whether you really need the extra processing power, but there’s no doubt that the iPhone X is faster than Samsung s9.

WINNER: iPhone X.

Design and Display

Both phones have nice design and indeed very okay but we are comparing the two smartphones, so let’s hit the stats. Both phones have 5.8 inch AMOLED display. IPhone X has a screen resolution of  2436×1125 pixels which has 458 pixel per inch (PPI) rating  compared to Samsung Galaxy s9 which has screen resolution of  2960×1440 pixel which has 529 pixel per inch(PPI) rating. So Samsung s9 took the lead here.

WINNER: Samsung s9.

 Software

Samsung s9 biggest software addition or should I say extra is Bixby, which has artificial intelligent range in it that enables one to identify objects around him and translate it in real time. But most of these things can be done using Google app and assistant. Compared to iPhone X which also boast face ID, Apple’s sophisticated face unlock security, which is very faster and easier to use than Samsung iris scanner. Here it’s a head to head situation.

WINNER: Draw

Camera

Samsung s9 camera is rated at 12 mega pixels, capable of switching between f/1.5 aperture and also an f/2.4 aperture. Its front camera is rated at 8mega pixels and sports a large f/1.7 aperture compared to iPhone x camera rated at dual 12 mega pixels lenses with f/1.7 and f/2.4 apertures. It is capable to zoom 2X optically and can produce a great bokeh effect. Its front camera is rated at 7 mega pixels and has an infra-red that enables it to detect faces even in the dark.

WINNER: iPhone X

Battery and charging

Both phones support wireless charging. They also both support fast charging, though Samsung has chosen to limit the S9 to Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0. Nevertheless iPhone X can also be charged up quickly, Apple neglects to include a fast charger in the box with it, which is annoying considering the price of the phone. Here is a close call.

WINNER: Draw

From our comparison you’ll notice that both devices performed very well but we have a question to answer which means we need an overall winner so OUR OVERALL WINNER IS iPhone X.

Conclusion

Despite the competitions in the global market Apple and Android have been the leading companies, though Apple had been dominating for long but the truth remains that the two companies are indeed very great. iPhone X might be better than Samsung s9 but s9 is a great smartphone too with amazing features at very cheap price. So, my own choice is Samsung s9. I don’t know about you.
